A small shop run by Neil Loesch in the US59/Chimney Rock area. Neil has done engine work and scheduled maintenance on my XJ40. I don't know if he works on earlier models. He works exclusively on Jaguars and knows his stuff. Very pleasant guy, has no problems if you want to do some of the work yourself and leave some for him to do. He does a superb re-dye job using a dye that seems much superior to the Connolly process. I took the seats and all the interior trim out of my (non-Jaguar) car for him to pick up and work on and the results were really good. He also did the same work on my son's car about a year ago. He does warranty work for Lexus and Rolls Royce dealers. (Dave Hurlston)

I've taken my '88 XJ-S to Paul since I bought it three years ago. He is very knowledgeable and has been extremely reasonable in his dealings with me. He is very sensitive to the fact that I don't want to spend thousands of dollars on the car every time I bring it in. He is very upfront about the scope of the work and will adjust it to my needs. He knows that I do most of the work on the Jag myself and has offered to lend me used parts (like a fuel rail) so I can replace the part without a lot of down time (my XJ-S is virtually my sole mode of transport).
Paul specializes in high-performance mods, and a couple of Houston members can attest to his abilities in this area, as well. On top of everything else, Paul is a prince of a human being and is a Jag enthusiast. (David Littlefield).

These people specialize in restoring old seat belts and seat belt retractors. They were able to exactly match the webbing on a set of mid-60's Hickok Jaguar belts for me. All parts were re-plated and re-chromed. Parts for early Jaguar belt retractors may present a problem so you might need to hunt around for a used set for parts purposes, but they'll let you know if something is needed. They cannot reproduce old belt labels, though will bend over backwards to make it right.
Nice people; talk to Sharon. They also do belts for other makes; especially Corvettes. I recommend them highly. They are located in Tyler, Texas. (Patrick McLoad)

Michael's European
Kirby @ Alabama
When I called to make an appointment for service of my newly acquired '91 XJ6 a year ago, the Momentum service manager told me they were swamped, asked what area I was in and then recommended Michael's European. Mike Davis is factory trained, was originally at the old Dominion location, Kirby @ Alabama.
I've used no one but Michael's European since. Mike works exclusively on Jaguar, is aware of the customer's need to approve all repairs and expenses and is extremely conscientious of keeping you and your Jaguar on the road. I'm very pleased to have been pointed in Mike's direction. - Bill Rister
